Hilton Garden Inn Houston Energy Corridor

Dallas, Texas: Phoenix American Hospitality is pleased to announce that they have partnered with American Liberty Hospitality to purchase the Hilton Garden Inn located in the Energy Corridor of Houston Texas. American Liberty Hospitality will invest in the hotel along with American Hospitality Properties Fund I and will serve as the Hotel Manager. As an investment criteria, the Fund Manager, Phoenix American Hospitality, requires that the Hotel Manager invest in hotels acquired by the Fund.
"It is our experience, that in order to mitigate investment risk, it is critically important to have the party responsible for the day-to-day profitability of a hotel, financially tied to the operating results" said Perch Nelson, President of Phoenix American.
About the hotel: This new generation Hilton Garden Inn, opened in September of 2008. The hotel is a seven (7) story building containing 190 guestrooms and 3,672 Sq. Ft. of meeting space. The hotel is well located with the Energy Corridor of Houston Texas, the main growth corridor in the fourth (4th) largest city in the U.S. Major energy employers in the area are Exxon Mobil, Shell, Conoco Phillips, Citgo, Transocean and British Petroleum. Major non energy employers are Sysco Foods, BMC Software, Toyota and Hermann Medical Center.
